Wednesday night is focusing on stories homegrown in New Zealand. This night is dedicated to providing programming filmed and produced locally and around New Zealand to showcase the country and its people.

2017 Taranaki Sheep Dog Trials

Country TV will bring the 2017 Taranaki Sheep Dog Trials to the big screen from 23 August – 20 September, Wednesdays at 7.30pm! More than 100 competitors and 240 sheep dogs show off their skills each year at the Hawera Showgrounds. The event attracts a broad audience and is a must for farmers, vets and trainers. But the sport also expanded its audience over the past few years with more and more passionate dog lovers competing in the Trial. Read more HERE
