Event Rider Masters 2017 – Coming in September
The Event Rider Masters is an exciting series with record prize money and the aim to showcase the sport of Eventing to audiences all around the world. The seven legs of the series incorporate iconic British and European events where riders battle it out for the coveted Event Rider Masters title.
Chatsworth House, UK

The first leg of the Event Rider Masters combines thrilling equestrian sport in the beautiful surroundings of Chatsworth House. You can expect World class competition, from elegant dressage, to exciting show jumping and nail biting cross country.

The second leg of the 2017 Event Rider Masters will be contested in the public parklands of the magnificent Biebrich Palace, on the bank of the Rhine River in the middle of the city of Wiesbaden. The Baroque Schloss Park has hosted an international horse show for eighty one years and will bring you thrilling equestrian sport across the disciplines.
Barbury Castle, UK

At the third leg of the Event Rider Masters you can expect to see many of the World’s top combinations of horses and riders battle it out. Popular amongst the World’s top event riders, Barbury Castle is the perfect place to watch top class eventing. In 2016 Andrew Nicholson scored a record fifth consecutive victory at the Wiltshire venue and you’d be brave to bet against him in 2017!
Haras de Jardy, France

The fourth leg of the 2017 Event Rider Masters series travels to Haras de Jardy, just 10 minutes from Paris. In 1891 Edmund White, a politician and horse lover, created the Equestrian Centre and Stud which boasts a beautiful century-old stable yard. Eventing takes center stage at Haras de Jardy and you can be assured the action will be fast and furious.
Gatcombe Park, UK

The fifth leg takes place at Gatcombe Park alongside Eventing’s National Championships. In the heart of the Gloucestershire countryside, this is the home of the Princess Royal and her family and has a long tradition of staging world-class Eventing. The event incorporates the British Open, Intermediate and Novice Championships, as well as the Amateur Championship and the Corinthian Cup.
Blair Castle, Scotland

With a strong Celtic feel and the beautiful Scottish Glens as the stage, this leg of the Event Rider Masters cannot fail to impress. The Event Rider Masters cross country runs through the gardens, just a stone’s throw from the castle walls and the magnificent setting makes an impressive backdrop for the World’s best riders to stake their challenge for the Masters title.
Blenheim Palace, UK

Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, is a more than fitting finale for the Event Rider Masters. Competition for the final places is fierce and you can be sure to see athletes demonstrating their highest level of skill in all three phases in an attempt to win the prestigious Masters crown.
